These sculptures were made from waste cardboard, plastic, and found materials and explore different aspects of our relationship to the earth. '*dhegom-', the reclining figure, represents how closely we are tied both historically and mythologically to the earth itself, while 'From the Earth' reflects how inextricable the link is between the history of pottery and the history of human life. Finally, 'Symbiosis' looks at the cycle of death, decay, and rebirth, quietly raising the issue of pollution and plastic waste.
