'Lungs of the Earth' is a finely burnished terracotta sculpture, made up of a complex system of tubes and pipes that form a fully-functioning wind instrument. With a form reminiscent of megaliths and other prehistoric religious structures, it is an exploration of ritual and our relationship to the earth and - despite its size - transforms the space it is in through the haunting sounds and sense of significance that it creates.
